Geography is closely related to life and is a highly popular subject.The development of contemporary geography has rich connotation.Regional geography and systematic geography are two important fields in geography,having great influence on contemporary geography.This paper discusses the origin,meaning,difference and development prospect of regional geography and system geography,and explores its role in social and economic development,natural science and in promoting the discipline construction.
