With the improvement of economic level,more and more tall buildings have been built up.Fire hazards have also increased.Therefore,safe fire protection environment has become our common pursuit.As an efficient extinguishing agent,the research and application of foam extinguishing agent have attracted much attention.This paper first introduces the classification and principle of foam extinguishing agent,and summarizes the preparation methods of various foam extinguishing agents,the fire-fighting effect,advantages and disadvantages,as well as the applicable scope of various foam extinguishing agents.Then,the problems of foam extinguishing agent in fire-fighting application are analyzed,and the correct use method is put forward to ensure the safety of our life and property.
