安徽省立图书馆自成立以来,由于政局紊乱和经费短绌的影响,一直处于旧式藏书楼的状态。直到国民革命以后,陈东原就任馆长,通过拓展馆务工作,征集省内文化典籍和历史民俗资料,成立安徽省图书馆协会,组织各种读书会,出版馆刊《学风》,提倡学术研究,培养良好社会学风,打造了近代先进图书馆,更弘扬了安徽省文化,推动了全省图书馆事业的发展。

Since the establishment of the Anhui Library,due to the political disorder and short-term funding,it has been in the state of the old library.After the national revolution,Chen Dongyuan was appointed as the curator,through the expansion of the library work,collecting cultural books and historical folk materials in the province,setting up the Anhui Library Association,organizing various reading clubs,and publishing the magazine The style of study to promote academic research.It has cultivated a good sociological style of study,created a modern advanced library,advanced the culture of Anhui Province,and promoted the development of the library industry in the province.
