道安与东晋清谈

Dao An and Idle Talks of the Eastern Jin Dynasty

道安因其卓越的成就,在东晋时便已享有极高的声誉。汤用彤称赞道安能够不借清谈而使佛教有独立之建设与发展,实际上道安对于东晋的清谈有着极为密切的关系。《世说新语》等文献中保存有少量的道安清谈的记载,从中能看出道安清谈水平极高。道安擅长"双玄",传扬的般若学以及对"双玄"的阐发,成为支道林等清谈者玄谈的重要内容,对两晋清谈的内容、形式和风气都起到了推动作用。道安极好地利用了东晋的清谈,推动了佛教在东晋时期的发展。

Due to his remarkable achievements,Dao An already enjoyed a high reputation in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.Tang Yongtong praised Dao An for his ability to build and develop Buddhism independently without resort to idle talk.Actually,Dao An had a close relationship with idle talk.There are a few records of Dao An's idle talk in documents like Shi Shuo Xin Yu,from which we can see he was very good at this style of writing.Daoan played a role in promoting the content,form and ethos of the idle talk of the two Jin dynasties.By making good use of the idle talk of the Eastern Jin Dynasty,he promoted the development of Buddhism in the Eastern Jin Dynasty.
