“往”的虚化进程及词类归属

本文从词义和功能的变化两方面入手追溯古代汉语动词"往"的历时演变,分析"往"由最初的"去"义动词逐步虚化为介词的过程。在此研究的基础上延伸讨论现代汉语"往"的词类归属问题。一方面,"往"已成为虚词系统中相对稳固的成员,另一方面,"往"在一定环境下仍然保留动词的用法。现代汉语"往"虚化的进程并未到达终点,它仍然具有虚词和实词两重属性。

This paper studies the grammaticalization process of the verb“Wang(往)”in ancient Chinese from the two aspects of word meaning and function,and describes the process of“Wang(往)”from verb to preposition.On the basis of this study,the grammatical classification of“Wang(往)”in modern Chinese is discussed.On the one hand,“Wang(往)”has become a solid member in the system of function words,on the other hand,“Wang(往)”is still used as a verb in a certain environment.The grammaticalization process of“Wang(往)”in modern Chinese has not reached the end.It still has two attributes:function word and real word.
