情境环境

摘要 环境传感技术正变得无处不在。如今,可见和不可见的城市环境谱都可以被我们感知。然而,建筑师和城市设计师依然站在理解城市环境复杂性的前沿。传统的设计和环境分析方法建立在环境参数静态表示上,因此,在建筑和城市设计实践中引入高分辨率时空环境数据的可能性还有待探索。在此背景下,需要界定新型环境表示和分析策略,以解释建筑和城市设计实践中环境现象具有全面复杂性的原因。数据的动态表示这一课题在数据科学和媒体艺术等其他学科中被广泛探讨。本文的研究重点是跨学科环境数据表示技术的开发,是建筑和城市设计实践中的现象研究。在此方法中,我们借鉴了数据科学中的信息表示和分析方法、媒体艺术中的交互设计、游戏设计中的视角发展和电影艺术故事讲述中使用的设计虚构。利用这种跨学科的方法我们能够探索虚拟和现实情境感知的概念,它们在本文中被描述为一系列"非情境"和"情境"可视化。我们的目标是探索具有替代性的环境可视化技术,并以此制定战略进行交流,推测城市未来的直观环境。 Environmental sensing technologies are becoming ubiquitous.We can now sense the visible and invisible environmental spectrum of cities.However,architects and urban designers are still on the cusp of understanding the complexity of urban environments.Traditional design and environmental analysis methods are built upon a static representation of environmental parameters,and thus the possibilities to introduce high-resolution spatiotemporal environmental data within the architectural and urban design practices is yet to be explored.In this context,novel environmental representation and analysis strategies are to be defined to account for the full complexity of environmental phenomena in the architectural and urban design practices.The dynamic representation of data is a topic that has been widely explored in other disciplines,such as data sciences and media arts.The research presented here focuses on the development of interdisciplinary environmental data representation techniques for the study of environmental phenomena in architectural and urban design practices.In this approach,we have borrowed information representation and analysis methods from data sciences,interaction design from the media arts,development of viewpoints from game design,and the use of design fiction in storytelling from the cinematic arts.This interdisciplinary approach has allowed us to explore the concept of virtual and physical context-awareness as a series of"non-situated"and"situated"visualizations that are presented in this paper.Our goal is to explore alternative environmental visualization techniques that could enable us to define strategies to communicate and speculate on the immediate environmental futures of the cities.
