圆齿野鸦椿种子性状变异及子代苗生长表现

Variation of Seed Characters and Seedling Growth of Euscaphis konishii

以福建建瓯25个圆齿野鸦椿单株家系种子及其当年生播种苗为材料,研究不同家系种子性状的变异规律及与子代苗生长的关系。结果表明:(1)不同家系间种子长、种子宽、种形系数、种子千粒质量、种子发芽率及其子代苗高、地径均存在极显著差异,说明其具有较大的遗传改良潜力;(2)种子长、宽及千粒质量均与发芽率无显著相关性,因此不能通过种形性状来预测其发芽率;(3)种形性状、千粒质量及发芽率与幼苗生长性状间相关性不显著,故不能通过种形性状、千粒质量及发芽率等指标进行圆齿野鸦椿优良单株的早期选择。

Seeds and seedlings of 25 families of Euscaphis konishii from Jianou,Fujian Province were used to study the variation of seed traits in different families and their relationships with seedling growth.The study gave three major results:(i)the differences in seed length,seed width,kind of shape coefficient,seed thousand-grain weight,germination rate,seedling height and ground diameter were significant among the families,which indicated that it has great potential for genetic improvement;(ii)there was no significant correlation between seed length,width,thousand-grain weight and germination rate,so the germination rate could not be predicted by seed traits;(iii)there was no significant correlation between seed traits,thousand-grain weight,germination rate and seedling growth traits.Therefore,early selection for fine seeds could not be achieved through the indexes of seed traits,grain weight and germination rate.
