Hong Zhenqiu’s essays on Huizhou culture are full of his deep love for local history and culture,and sweet revelation of his aesthetic caress.The characters,sceneries,stories and customs in his essays bring the readers into an enchanting world of early spring in Jiangnan,featured with rain and flowers.But his essays are monotonous in writing style and thoughts,which is a common deficiency of local writers.
