From Tradition to Modernity: Historical Evolution of Curricular System in Wuxi National College

作为20世纪上半叶名满国内的私立国学专科学校,无锡国专的课程设置颇具特色。其历史沿革主要分为三个时期:国学专修馆时期的课程设置(1921—1927);转制发展时期的课程设置(1927—1937);分校并立时期的课程设置(1937—1950)。无锡国专的课程在沿革中趋新,刻下时局变动的烙印,展现了无锡国专在动荡中走过的一段从传统到现代的国学教育之路。

As a private national school in the first half of the20th century,Wuxi National College had a unique curricular system which can be divided into three periods in its historical evolution:the period of the Chinese classics education(1921–1927);the period of transformation and development(1927-1937);and the period of the branching schools(1937-1950).The curricula of Wuxi National College were constantly revolu?tionized,leaving the impression of the times,which exhibited its history from tradition to modern era in the so?cial and political upheavals.
