MRI measurement study of ischiofemoral space in normal adults

摘要 目的测量正常成人坐骨股骨间隙(IFS)和股方肌间隙(QFS)宽度,为临床诊断坐骨股骨撞击综合征(IFIS)提供理论依据。方法招募113名正常成人志愿者,男63名,女50名,进行髋关节MR扫描,并根据年龄将其分为≤48岁组(50名)和>48岁组(63名)。测量双侧髋关节的IFS、QFS宽度和坐骨结节间距,比较不同侧别、年龄和性别间的差异,并分析坐骨结节间距与IFS和QFS宽度的相关性。结果正常成人左、右侧IFS宽度为(2.55±0.60)cm和(2.56±0.60)cm,QFS宽度为(1.75±0.45)cm和(1.75±0.48)cm,差异均无统计学意义(P均>0.05)。男性IFS和QFS宽度[(2.66±0.65)cm和(1.85±0.46)cm]均大于女性[(2.43±0.51)cm和(1.60±0.42)cm],坐骨结节间距[(9.79±0.84)cm]小于女性[(11.64±1.15)cm],差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.01)。≤48岁组IFS、QFS宽度[(2.69±0.66)cm和(1.88±0.48)cm]均大于>48岁组[(2.44±0.53)cm和(1.64±0.41)cm],差异有统计学意义(P均<0.01)。坐骨结节间距与IFS、QFS宽度间均呈轻度负相关(r=-0.141、-0.159,P均<0.05)。结论正常成人双侧IFS、QFS宽度无差异,男性大于女性,且随年龄增长而减小。 Objective To measure the width of the ischiofemoral space(IFS)and quadratus femoris space(QFS)in normal adults,in order to provide a theoretical basis for clinical diagnosis of ischial femoral impingement syndrome(IFIS).Methods A total of 113 normal adult volunteers were recruited and underwent MR scans of hip joints,including 63 males and 50 females.According to age,they were divided into≤48 years group(n=50)and>48 years group(n=63).The width of IFS,QFS and intertuberous distance of bilateral hip joints were measured and compared between different sides,ages and sexes.The correlations of intertuberous distance and width of IFS and QFS were analyzed,respectively.Results The width of IFS was(2.55±0.60)cm and(2.56±0.60)cm,of QFS was(1.75±0.45)cm and(1.75±0.48)cm on the left and right sides in normal adults,respectively,no statistically significant difference was found(both P>0.05).The width of IFS and QFS in males([2.66±0.65]cm and[1.85±0.46]cm)were larger than those in females([2.43±0.51]cm and[1.60±0.42]cm),while the intertuberous distance([9.79±0.84]cm)in males was less than that in females([11.64±1.15]cm,all P<0.01).The width of IFS and QFS in≤48 years group([2.69±0.66]cm and[1.88±0.48]cm)were higher than those in>48 years group([2.44±0.53]cm and[1.64±0.41]cm,both P<0.01).Slightly negative correlation was found between intertuberous distance and IFS,as well as between intertuberous distance and QFS width(r=-0.141,-0.159,both P<0.05).Conclusion In normal adults,the width of bilateral IFS and QFS are not different,and the width in males are larger than those in females.Furthermore,the width of IFS and QFS decrease with age increasing.
