老人居家跌伤事件的调查

Investigation on falls of the elderly at home

目的 调查空巢老人居家安全状况,为制定居家空巢老人安全措施提供依据。方法 组建调查小组,培训专职调查人员,使用自制的调查表,于2016年对广州白云区3个社区中心随机抽样65岁以上的老人共254人,以面对面询问方式进行1年内居家跌伤事件的调查。重点了解空巢老人居家跌伤事件。将254位老人按个体家庭情况不同分为两组,即空巢组(包括独居老人)146人(57.48%),同子女居住组(居住组)108人(42.52%),将其分类统计。结果 254老人中发生跌倒57人,其中伴骨折20人,伴烧伤3人;空巢组跌倒38例,伴骨折14例,烧伤2例;与子女同住组跌倒19例,伴骨折6例,伴烧伤1例。结论 加强适合老年人特点的安全知识教育和改善老人的居家环境是预防老年人居家事件发生的重要措施。

Objective To investigate the safety status of the empty nest elderly,and provide basis for developing safety measures for the empty nest elderly.Methods In 2016,by setting up investigation group,training full-time investigators,and using self-made questionnaires,we randomly sampled 254 over 65 years old people from three community centers at Baiyun District,Guangzhou,and conducted a face-to-face investigation to them.We focused on the fall accidents of the elderly.The 254 elderly people were divided into an empty nester group[146(57.48%)],including singleton elderly,and a living with their children group[residential group,108(42.52%)]according to their own family situation.The data were calculated according to their classifications.Results show that 57 of the 254 elderly people had fall accidents,including 20 with fractures and 3 with burns.Among the 57 elderly people,38 in the empty nester group,14 cases with fractures and 2 burn;and 19 in the other group,6 with fracture and 1 burn.Conclusion Strengthening the education of safety knowledge is suitable for the characteristics of the elderly;and improving the home environment of the elderly is important measures to prevent the occurrence of household accidents among the elderly.
