The Breeding of White Millet Hot Pepper New Variety Xingxiu

星秀是以R0971为母本、R0997为父本选育出的白米椒杂交一代品种。中熟,果实小羊角形,果实由白色转红色,平均果纵径6.8 cm、果横径1.2 cm、果肉厚0.15 cm,平均单果质量4.8 g。味辛辣,连续坐果性强,产量高,平均鲜椒产量1 400 kg/667m2,干椒产量300~400 kg/667 m^2。可做干椒、鲜椒、泡椒和剁椒,用途广泛,干椒透明,干制率23%左右,辣度为80 000 SHU左右,露地和保护地栽培均可适应。2015年通过湖南省审定委员会审定,2017年获得植物新品种授权,品种权号为CNA20130434.7。

As a white fruit millet hot pepper,Xingxiu is the F1 hybrid variety with R0971 as female plant and R0997 as male plant.The fruit shape of Xingxiu likes small sheep horn with medium maturity.Its fruit is 6.8 cm in length and 1.2 cm in diameter with pungent flavor.The average fruit weight and flesh thickness are 4.8 g and 0.15 cm,respectively.The fruit color turns from white to red when fruits mature.This variety has good continuous fruit setting ability and high yield.The average fresh and dried fruit yields are 1 400 kg/667 m2 and 300~400 kg/667 m2,respectively.Its fruits have several usages,such as dry pepper,fresh market,pickled and chopped pepper.The dried fruits are transparent with around 23%dried rate.Its pungency is around 80 000 SHU.This variety is suitable for open field and green house cultivation.It has been examined and approved by the Variety Certification Committee of Hunan Province in 2015 and acquired the authorization of new variety right of plant in 2017 with the variety right NO.CNA20130434.7.
