Interaction and Integration: the Objective Requirement for China's Borderland History Studies in the New Era

作者对新时代中国边疆史研究的发展做了探讨,认为在理解边疆与"大一统"关系时要处理好边远与中心、特殊与一般、动荡与稳定、战争与和平的关系,只有将边疆史与通史和断代史融为一体,走互动与融通相结合的研究之路,才能进一步拓展中国边疆史研究的内涵,真正提高中国学者在中国边疆史研究中的话语权。

The author discusses the development of China's borderland studies in the New Era,and thinks that in understanding the relations between borderland and“the Great Unification”,the relations between frontier and center,specialty and normal,turbulence and stability,war and peace,should be dealt with.Only by integrating borderland history with general history and dynastic history,and embarking the research way of interaction and integration,the content of China's borderland studies can be really broadened,China's scholars discourse power on borderland history can be really improved.
