虚拟现实技术:新日常生活回归“以身为媒” 被引量:5

Human Body Serves as the Sign Medium in the Context of Virtual Reality and New Everyday Life

摘要 虚拟现实技术的横空出世为人们重新审视身体在人类认知活动中的地位和作用提供了一个契机。从历时性角度考察身体在人类传播史中的符号功能衍变可发现,在新日常生活中身体重新成为了物-符号-媒介三联体参与到人类传播活动。因此,在新日常生活语境下,以虚拟现实技术等延展认知技术为先导的物理技术成为了人类大脑的延伸,进而颠覆了人们传统的认知方式,重塑了人们在新语境下的日常生活方式、认知机制及日常交往方式。 The emerge of virtual reality gives arise to the re-examination of the function of human body in the human cognition and communication of meaning.This paper proposes that human body has triple functions of matter-sign-medium,and throughout the history of human communication,this triplets of body demonstrate various biased features.In the context of new everyday life,the function of human body as matter arises and the triple functions of human body are reconnected.Therefore,in the context of new everyday life,new technologies as virtual reality will work as the extensions of human brain and rebuild the cognitive mechanism and life style of human beings.
