摘要
降低LCD背光亮度是降低移动手持设备功耗的有效方法,但是会造成图像显示质量的降低。结合LCD显示亮度计算原理与人眼视觉感知特性,提出了一种根据图像亮度值的分布,随背光源光强的不同,动态调节亮度补偿强度,并进行局部对比度增强的算法。实验结果表明,该算法在降低背光的条件下,可以提升图像清晰度并保持图像结构相似性,适宜人眼感知。
Reducing the LCD backlight brightness is an effective method to reduce the power consumption of mobile handheld devices,but it will reduce the quality of image display.With the calculation principle of the LCD display brightness and the characteristics of human visual perception,an algorithm is proposed which is according to the distribution of image intensity values,and different backlight intensity,dynamically adjusting the brightness compensation intensity,meanwhile,enhance the local contrast.The results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the image definition and maintain the image structure similarity under the condition of reducing the backlight.
