Patterns of Interaction Rituals in Personal Relations

民族志研究发现,表达性的互动仪式随着关系的疏远变得越来越弱;然而工具性的互动仪式却随着关系的亲疏展现出了"少-多-少"的模式,在"亲关系"中比较少,在"中关系"中比较多,在"疏关系"中又比较少被使用。

Based on two ethnographic case studies,this research finds two different patterns of interac?tion ritual in guanxi:expressive ritual becomes less valued and less frequent with distance;instrumental ritual is more workable and more frequent in moderate relations than close and distant relations,following a“lessmore-less”pattern.
