欧洲启蒙运动与欧盟的文化困境

The Enlightenment and Cultural Dilemma of the EU

历经半个多世纪发展的欧洲联盟已经成为当今世界最为成熟的区域一体化组织代表。随着其经济、政治一体化的深入，它的发展在文化上遭遇了一系列的问题。本文从讨论这些"政治意味"十足的文化问题，即恐怖袭击、移民、难民问题、英国退欧入手，讨论启蒙运动中"我者/他者"的二分法对今天欧盟的种族和移民等问题的影响。或者说，通常意义上我们认为的积极、进步的启蒙运动实际上也有消极的一面，即为欧洲资本主义扩张和殖民侵略推波助澜。

After more than 50 years5 development,the EU(European Union)has become one of the most mature representatives of regional integration organizations in the world.Although it has reaped great achievement in economy and politics,it encounters some difficulties culturally.This paper starts by discussing these seemingly political issues,which include the terrorist's attack in France and Belgium,the refugees and immigrants flowing into EU member states and the recent“Briexit”.Then it focuses on the“Us/Other”dichotomy climaxing at the Enlightenment and its influences on the issues just listed.The paper tries to propose that there is a negative side of the Enlightenment Movement in European history,that is,it promotes the colonial expansion and colonization in the less developed countries.
