看得见的风景与看不见的城市

On the Visible Landscape and the Invisible City

中国近30年的城市建设,争建第一高楼或标志性建筑,极力凸显看得见的风景,忽略城市基本功能的状况值得深思。事实上,不显眼的生活设施正是城市的经脉所在,舒适度远比视觉形象重要。城市建设应更多考虑市民需求,把适合居住以及本地民众的感受放在第一位;还应注重城市文化,其中文学艺术的重要性不言而喻,博物馆和书店也扮演着重要角色。重视从内在视角出发进行城市规划、建设,一些中小城市在城市改造方面的某些实验性方案具有启示意义。

Compared with the construction of landmark buildings in recent 30 years,the basic functions of urban life is omitted.However,the inconspicuous life facilities are the backbone of the city--comfort is more important than visual effects.Citizens demands such as housing and feelings should be the focus of city construction.Besides,museums and book stores related to urban culture shouldn t be underestimated.The planning and construction of city should start from an inner perspective and adopt some inspirational experiences of medium or small cities modification experiments.
