《儿世说》考论

On the Book of The Tales of Children's World

《儿世说》是明代赵瑜所作的一部"世说体"小说,专记汉末至明初的儿童故事。该书作者赵瑜与《国朝耆献类徵初编》所收赵瑜非为一人。《儿世说》现存顺治三年宛委山堂刻《说郛续》本,但此本舛误颇多。在材料来源上,《世说新语》为《儿世说》所参考,而《何氏语林》不能确定为《儿世说》的来源。作者对材料的剪裁主要有三种方式,即截录原文、大体照录和摘录精华。相比于《世说新语》的儿童形象,《儿世说》在儿童年龄跨度、儿童类型和对儿童所持态度上都显示出不同特点。

The Tales of Children s World is a novel written in the Ming Dynasty which adopts the style of Shi-shuo.This book has many children s stories from Han Dynasty to Ming Dynasty.It has one sole edition-Block-printed of Wei Wan Shan Tang in in the third year of Emperor Shunzhi s reign period,which has many errors.Concerning the source of literature,Zhao Yu chose A New Account of the Tales of the World other than He Shi Yu Lin for reference.He tried three methods to prune this book:cut out the original tales,copied the original tales and selected the essence of original tales.Compared to children images in A New Account of the Tales of the World,The Tales of Children s World makes lots of differences in the ages and types.Authors of those two books also show different attitudes to children.
