HOXD10在肝外胆管癌中的表达及其临床意义

Expression and clinical significance of HOXD10 in extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma

目的探讨肝外胆管癌(ECC)中同源异型盒10(HOXD10)的表达及其临床意义。方法应用免疫组织化学(IHC)方法检测174例ECC手术切除组织的HOXD10表达。分析HOXD10表达与临床病理特征的相关性,包括生存分析。结果 HOXD10在ECC组织的表达较正常的胆道上皮细胞明显下调(P=0.001)。HOXD10的高表达与低组织学分级(P <0.001)和低T分期(P=0.002)相关。Kaplan-Meier曲线表明HOXD10高表达与更好的总生存期显著相关(P <0.001)。多因素分析显示,HOXD10表达是总生存期的独立危险因素(P=0.002,HR=1.830)。结论 HOXD10高表达与ECC良性临床病理特征密切相关,是ECC总生存期的独立预后因素。

Objective To evaluate the expression and clinical significance of HOXD10 in extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma(ECC).Methods Immunohistochemistry(IHC)for HOXD10 was performed on archival tissues containing 174 ECC.The correlation of HOXD10 expression with clinicopathological features including survival analysis was analyzed.Results There was a decreasing tendency of HOXD10 expression in ECC than that in normal epithelium of the biliary tract(P=0.001).In addition,the over-expression of HOXD10 was significantly associated with low histologic grade(P<0.001)and low pathologic T stage(P=0.002).Kaplan-Meier curves showed that HOXD10 over-expression was significantly related to better overall survival(P<0.001).Furthermore,multivariate analysis showed that HOXD10 expression was an independent risk factor for overall survival(P=0.002,hazard ratio,1.830).Conclusion The over-expression of HOXD10 in ECC is significantly correlated with favorable clinicopathologic features and is an independent prognostic factor for better overall survival.
