Great achievements have been made in the study of Chinese phonology in the 20th century.An important part of the study of academic history is to summarize the characteristics and stages of academic research.By analyzing the developments and achievements of phonology study,this paper summarizes ten characteristics from the 20th century phonology research and divides it into four stages.
