摘要
基于半桥子模块(HBSM)级联的模块化多电平变换器(MMC)广泛用于中高压直流输电工程。分析了直流侧短路和直流单极接地故障的暂态特性,并提出了相应保护策略。分析直流侧短路故障,将三相桥臂等效成为1条支路,给出了桥臂电流与系统电气参数的关系;分析系统交流侧接地时的直流单极接地故障特性,描述了交流三相出口电压和直流母线电压;在RT-LAB平台上搭建21电平的MMC模型进行验证,并对上述2种故障分别提出了保护策略。
Modular multilevel converter(MMC)based on half-bridge sub-module(HBSM)cascade is widely used in high voltage HVDC project.The transient characteristics of DC short circuit fault and DC ground fault were analyzed,and the corresponding protection strategy was put forward,which provided the basis for fault protection of MMC system.The three-phase bridge arm was equivalent to a branch path when analyzed the short-circuit fault of the DC side.The relationship between the arm current and the electrical parameters of the system was given.The characteristics of the DC ground fault were analyzed when the AC side of the system grounded,and the AC threephase outlet voltage and DC bus voltage were described.The RT-LAB platform was used to validate the MMC model with 21-level,and the protection strategy was put forward for two kinds of faults.
