Tissue World Magazine（TWM）的年度调查涵盖了2017-2018年期间所有已订购纸机或处于最终规划阶段的项目，主要涉及生活用纸，很多不影响产能的小型改造项目不包括在内。本文主要基于Tissue World Magazine（TWM）关于全球生活用纸项目的调查报告。从调查报告可以看出，2017年对于全球生活用纸市场来说，虽然全球共有121个新项目，同比2016年的111个有所增加，但对比2015年的126个，特别是2014年的146个依然有所减少。且由于部分项目的延迟，使得2017年的统计项目与2016年的项目有重复。这也说明2016年和2017年全球生活用纸市场对比之前的几年稍显低迷。

2017 has seen an increase in tissue projects compared to the same time a year earlier. Tissue World Magazine(TWM)'s annual survey charts all new capacity being added, ordered or in final planning stages during 2017-2018. The survey is interested in projects that will increase tissue capacity–the numerous smaller rebuilds around the world that won't impact capacity have been excluded.The figures in the survey are based on TMW's research on global tissue projects. The research shows that in 2017, the global tissue industry has seen another substantial amount of new capacity announced or coming on stream, with 121 projects. This is compared to 2016's 111 projects, 2015's 126 projects, and 146 projects in 2014. Due to the delay in some projects, there are some repeated projects in 2016 and 2017, which shows a slight downturn in recent two years compared with former years. Most of 2017's new projects are once again set in China, which claims 37 projects compared to 2016's 35. All these 37 new projects is predicted to bring 1475 thousand tons of new tissue capacity. Outside of China, the other global player America, which claims seven in 2017, down from nine projects in 2016. America's new projects are all big ones, with capacity of 60,000 tons each. Four announced new projects will contribute over 200 thousand tons new capacity. Growth is also still focused on or from countries such as Brazil which claims nine projects, a decrease(likely because of economic reasons) from 2016's 12 projects.
