Border governance is an integral part of national governance.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,general secretary Xi Jinping,based on the changes in the international and domestic situation and the actual situation in China’s frontier regions,has put forward a series of important ideological treatise on frontier governance.Its core content covers the key issues such as the principle and strategy of border governance,frontier development,frontier security and ecological civilization.Xi Jinping’s thinking on the frontier governance,focusing on the overall development of the state and the overall situation of the modernization of state governance,has not only grasped the major realistic problems in the current frontier governance,but also followed the objective law of the border governance.It is a new contribution to the theory of the frontier governance of the Chinese characteristic socialism in the new era.It also has important guiding significance for advancing the modernization of border governance.
