罗明坚的“亲儒”策略及对利玛窦的影响

Michele Ruggieri's "Pro-Confucianism" Strategy and Its Effect on Matteo Ricci

耶稣会士罗明坚作为明清之际西学东渐的开创性人物,对中国思想中儒释道各家的判断取舍,对利玛窦等后继者产生了重要的影响。但以往学者在研究过程中往往将耶稣会在中国的适应策略归功于利玛窦,而对于罗明坚在这方面的贡献,特别是"亲儒"倾向上的创造性尝试未予以重视。文章通过还原罗明坚在华传教的历史情境并结合其著作分析,参考其拉丁文"四书"手稿等"中学西传"方面的文献,彰显罗明坚"亲儒"策略的价值及对利玛窦的影响。

Michele Ruggieri was the first Jesuit who got the permission of living in China,whose judgment of Buddhism and Confucianism directly affect other Jesuits.Even the remarkable Matteo Ricci,carried forward lots of practice from Ruggieri.However,researchers always see the Jesuitical strategy as Ricci′s contribution,and investigate the effect on the successors,but pay little attention to Ruggieri,especially little attention to his″pro-Confucianism″tendency.This essay tries to investigate Ruggeri′s all kinds of works,especially his Latin manuscripts of the Four Books,to manifest the value of his″pro-Confucianism″strategy and its effect on Ricci.
