Survey of and Conservation and Development Strategies for Resources of Torreya grandis var. Merrillii in Ningguo City

宁国香榧资源调查表明,本地资源丰富,栽培历史悠久,但由于培育技术不高,产量低且不稳,年份变化大,经济效益低。建议对全市香榧产业发展进行合理规划、开展技术合作、加快苗木繁育、建设生产基地、加强早实丰产栽培技术等,以期实现增产增收和提升品质。

Surveys have showed that Ningguo City is rich in resources of Torreya grandis var.Me rill and has a long cultivation history.But the low cultivation techniques have led to low and unstable yields with great annual variations and low economic performances.In thispaper,some suggestions were made in the hope of realizing yield and income increase and quality improv ement,which include rationalplanning for industrial development of Torreya grandis var.Merrilli plantations in the city,technical cooperation,speedup of seedlingpropagation,development of production bases,and technical improvement for early and high yields.
