高职院校药学英语创新教学模式探析——以江苏食品药品职业技术学院为例

Innovative Teaching Mode of Pharmaceutical English in Higher Vocational Colleges:Taking Jiangsu Food and Pharmaceutical Science College as the Example

药学英语属于专门用途英语,融合了高深复杂的药学专业知识,包含了大量的专业术语及词汇,其句型多为语法结构复杂的长句。大部分学生对药学英语课程感到力不从心,课堂反应冷淡。因此,对药学英语教学模式进行改革与创新势在必行。通过增加先导课程课时、构建与培训较为稳定的药学英语教学团队、实施多维互动的课程教学模式等方法,来加强学生自主学习的能力,从而使药学英语的教学效果和质量得到全面提高,同时也使学生的语言技能、心理素质、团队合作能力等得到了充分的锻炼和提升。

Pharmaceutical English belongs to special purpose English,which combines profound and complicated pharmaceutical knowledge,contains a large number of professional terminology and vocabulary,and its sentence patterns are mostly long sentences with complex grammatical structure.Most of the students feel inadequate but not enthusiastic about the course of Pharmaceutical English.Therefore,it is imperative to reform and innovate pharmaceutical English teaching mode.By increasing the teaching hours of the pilot courses,building and training more stable teaching team of Pharmaceutical English,and implementing the multi-dimensional interactive teaching mode,we can strengthen the students’ability to learn independently,so as to improve the teaching effect and quality of Pharmaceutical English comprehensively.At the same time,students’language skills,psychological quality,teamwork ability and so on will also be fully exercised and improved.
