市场结构与产能过剩关系的研究——基于制造业面板数据

Research on the Relationship Between Market Structure and Excess Capacity——Based on Manufacturing Panel Data

基于供给侧改革的大背景,我国制造业产能利用率有所改善,市场集中度也有所提高。本文通过2006～2016年的调查和统计数据,研究市场结构与产能过剩之间的关系。实证结果表明:(1)制造业的产能利用率与市场集中度呈显著的倒U型关系,目前市场集中度都还相对较低;(2)垄断程度相对较高的行业与市场集中度的相关性更加显著,提高该行业的集中度有利于发挥规模经济效应,从而提高产能利用率;(3)政府要减少对资源配置的干预,在宏观上对市场起到引领的作用,优化产业结构。

Under the background of supply-side reforms,China s manufacturing capacity utilization has improved and market concentration degree has enhanced.The relationship between market structure and excess capacity is studied by using statistics and survey data from 2006 to 2017.The empirical results show that:(1)there is a significant inverted U-shaped relationship between manufacturing capacity utilization and market concentration degree,and the current market concentration degree is relatively low;(2)the correlation between industries with relatively high degree of monopoly and market concentration degree is more significant,and the concentration degree of the industry is conducive to exert the effectiveness of economies of scale so as to increase capacity utilization;(3)the government should reduce the intervention of resource allocation,and plays a leading role in the market to optimize the industrial structure.
