白化茶树新品种‘景白1号’选育报告

A report on breeding new albino tea cultivar of ‘Jingbai No.1’

1973年,景宁县农业及科技部门在景宁县鹤溪街道惠明寺村惠明寺院后发现一株白化特性明显、芽头肥壮的优良白化变异单株。通过采用扦插、嫁接的方式成功将该白化变异单株培育成无性系茶树新品种,称‘景白1号’。该品种具有生长旺盛、产量高、抗性强、制茶品质优、经济效益好等优良特性,适合在全省茶区推广种植。

An albino mutant tea plant was discovered around Huiming Temple,Hexi Street by workers from the Agriculture and Scientific Department of Jingning County in 1973.The albino characteristics of the plant are distinct,with stout and strong buds.The albino mutant tea plant was successfully propagated by cutting or grafting,from which a new tea cultivar‘Jingbai No.1’was bred.The‘Jingbai No.1’has many excellent characteristics,such as strong growth potential,high yield,strong resistance to diseases,high economic benefit and etc.The new cultivar is suitable for growing in green tea region of Zhejiang Province.
