先秦"正名"旨在"正"以"礼"为核心的政治伦理之"实",集中表现为"正"涉"礼"语词之义,"正"涉"礼"语词之用。"正名"蕴含正音。通过"约定俗成",达到"名""实"相符。"约定俗成"论本质上是语言规范论。

In Pre-Qing Dynasty,correcting names“Zheng ming”aims to correct“Zheng”the political ethics practice“Shi”with“Li”as its core,centering on correcting the meanings and usages of the words related to“Li”.“Zheng ming”includes the correcting of the pronunciation.Convention“Yue ding su cheng”enables the agreement of the name“Ming”and the practice“Shi”.Therefore,the theory of convention“Yue ding su cheng”is basically the theory of linguistic norms.
