儒学所具有的时代性意义,需要在其基本性上应对哲学、科学等“终结性问题”,以引领文化走出终结,开新文化传统。儒学对人类解决现代性问题,走出社会及自然生态危机,厘正人类文明的历史方向,极具重要意义。因此,当贯通中西,正本清源,以辨其学,重新诠释儒家经典,形成一以贯之的思想体系与传世文献,以中学西渐,开新文化传统。

The epochal significance of Confucianism needs to deal with the problem of termination in philosophy,science etc.in its basic nature and leads the culture out of the end to open a new cultural tradition.Confucianism is extremely important to help people solve the problems of Modernity,be out of the social and natural ecological crisis and and improve the direction of history of human civilization as well.So we should be proficient in Chinese and Western culture,straighten out to argue for our study with the re-interpretation of Confucian classics.Thus we can reach the formation of ideology with one principle runs through it all and literature handed down.Meanwhile we should open a new cultural tradition with the dissemination of oriental learning.
