忠孝:服从与不服从的变奏曲

我们的社会对传统的忠孝有很多误解,例如,认为“忠孝”仅仅是服从和顺从。在君主社会,许多不义和不合理的事情都以“忠孝”的名义强迫别人顺从或服从,由此引发了很多弊端和问题。虽然“忠孝”是君臣之间以及父母与孩子之间的基本伦理,但是,无条件服从和顺从并不是忠臣或孝子应有的姿态。无条件的顺从不仅在现代的平等社会,即便是在过去的身份等级社会也并不正确,这一点通过荀子的思想可以得到确认。荀子批判了不合理的顺从和服从。顺从和服从的根本在于其对对方是真正有利的还是有害的,这是最重要的判断标准。本文是以荀子思想为中心整理而成的。

Our society has a lot of misunderstanding to traditional filial piety.For example,people believes that‘filial piety’are only obedience and submission.In the period of monarchy and authoritarianism,people were forced to obey or obey the name of“Filial piety”on many unjust and unreasonable things.This caused a lot of drawbacks and problems.Unconditional obedience and submission is not the due attitude of loyal or dutiful son and official as well,although the“filial piety”is the basic ethics between parents and children,ruler and subject as well.It is not correct both in modern society of equality and in the past identity hierarchy.This can be confirmed by Xunzi s thought.Xunzi criticized the unreasonable obedience and submission.The root of obedience and submission is whether it is truly beneficial or harmful to the other side.This is the most important benchmark of judgment.This paper is based on Xunzi thought.
