唐杭州大慈寰中禪師考略

Textual Research on the Zen Master Daci Huanzhong in Hangzhou in Tang Dynasty

杭州虎跑寺、虎跑泉聞名於世,其最初建寺高僧唐代杭州大慈寰中禪師却少有人知,有關其研究亦少見於學界。本文嘗試以《宋高僧傳》爲中心,結合禪門諸“燈録”等其他文獻資料,首先對大慈寰中禪師的生卒、出家、受戒、行迹等進行考證。其次對僧傳中有關其僧俗交往情况進行規整,并提出他與南泉普願禪師交往的真實性、諫議大夫崔公的身份確認、虎跑泉的最初來源與用意等問題,通過相關資料加以考證。最後梳理其相關語録記載,着重分析《祖堂集》中有關他本人的一則語録,同時對敦煌歌辭文獻中作者存在争議的《悉曇頌》作補充説明,進一步論證任半塘所提出的作者就是大慈寰中的觀點。最終,以期達到對大慈寰中相關情况作一系統梳理的目的。

Hupao Temple and Hupao Spring in Hangzhou is world famous,but the temple s first builder-Daci Huanzhong is rarely known with few academic research on him.Based on The Biographies of Eminent Monks in the Song Dynasty and other literatures,this essay aims to sketch the tracks of his life.Daci Huanzhong s friends and acquaintances is also described,for example,the query of contacting with Nanquan Puyuan,the officer identity of“Cui Gong”and the origin and motivation of the naming of Hupao Spring.Last but not the least,this essay sorts out his anas,especially those in Zutang Ji and verifies the author of Xitang Song in Dunhuang Geci,which is controversial,though believed as Daci Huanzhong by Ren Bantang.In all,this essay tries to summarize the life of Daci Huanzhong.
