Patriotism is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation.According to the existing archives of Qing Dynasty,after the battle of Dinghai in the late Qing Dynasty,the after-death affairs of the three generals of Dinghai were properly handled.This not only reflected the compensation of the Qing government for those who fought and died for the country,but also showed the respect for national heroes in the traditional Chinese culture,which was typical at the end of the Qing Dynasty.Since then,this spirit of defending the motherland against enemies became the inheritance of China's resistance to foreign invasion for 100 years.
