Problems Challenging the Teaching of English for Computer Science in Universities and Related Reflections

基于全球化和信息时代对计算机人才的要求,计算机英语是各个层次计算机专业学生的必修课,同时还是学生学好专业的必备工具,当前计算机专业英语教学面临很多困境,旨在提高计算机专业英语教学质量,如学校重视度不够、教材针对性不强、教师专业素质弱、教学设备不足等。

English for Computer Science has become a required course and a necessary tool for computer majors at various levels of schools to meet the demands of globalization and information age over computer talents.However,it has to pointed out that the course is confronted with many difficulties in practice.To solve these problems like insufficient attention from the school authority,low-quality textbooks and teachers and deficiency in teaching equipment,the paper presented a related study to improve the teaching quality of the course.
