论楚绣几何纹所含天地之数

A study on the fate of heaven and earth contained in the geometric pattern of Chu embroidery

纵观楚国出土的文物,如楚漆器的造型、绘画的图式、楚绣里的纹饰等,无意识间都会透露出楚人的某种超越时空的宇宙意识。文章以楚绣中"天圆地方"几何纹为基点,结合传统天文学理论,研究其中包含的神秘数字含义,并说明其"四圆"的图式象征着先进的浑天说的萌芽;楚国刺绣还有一个显著的特点就是对于原始巫文化中"凤"形象的着意表现,结合楚绣凤与几何圆形组合的实例,进一步阐释楚绣几何纹中有关"阳乌载日"在巫文化和天文学背景下的不同理解。

The cultural relics unearthed in the Chu dynasty such as the shape of Chu lacquer ware,painting schematics and patterns in Chu embroidery unconsciously reveal some kinds of transcendental cosmic consciousness of Chu people.Based on the geometrical pattern of“Round sky and Square earth”in Chu embroidery,this paper studies the mysterious digit meaning contained in it,and explains that its“four circles”scheme symbolizes the bud of the advanced celestial theory.Chu embroidery also has a prominent feature,that is,the“Phoenix”image expression in original wizard culture.Combined with the combination of Chu embroidery Phoenix and geometric circular examples,this article further explains the different understanding of“Yang Wu Zai Ri”in wizard culture and the background of astronomy.
