傅山《训子帖》附诗翻译中译者主体性的体现

摘要 Fu Shan’s World:The Transformation of Chinese Calligraphy in the Seventeenth Century(《傅山的世界:十七世纪中国书法的嬗变》)是华裔美籍艺术史家白谦慎用英语创作的、有关中国明清之际书法历史文化的学术专著,其中包含许多基于中文材料的翻译内容。本文以该著作中傅山《训子帖》文后附诗的翻译为例,分析学术专著异语写作翻译中的译者主体性表现。分析表明,译者能够在翻译材料的选择、翻译内容的取舍、词语翻译方法的确定等方面发挥主体性。 Fu Shan’s World:The Transformation of Chinese Calligraphy in the Seventeenth Century by Bai Qianshen,a famous American-Chinese scholar in the field of art history,is to some extent foreign language creation since it is about Chinese culture and bases its writing partly on the materials translated from Chinese.With Fu Shan’s poem in his Admonition to My Son as an example,the thesis discusses the translator’s subjectivity in the translation of foreign language creation.The analyses show that the translator exercises his subjectivity in material selection,in amplification and deletion,and in the choice of translation methods.
