A survey report about 13 missionary univeristy libraries of China published in the United States in 1948 is rarely known in China.After being digitized and open access by its collection institute in 2010,it has been reproduced across time and space barriers.More people have opportunity to know it and find its value.It has enlightments to analyze this survey report 70 years ago in aspects of enriching university library collection,focusing library construction and promoting OA mechanism.
