Japan’s Taiwan Residents residents do not share a large scale in Japan’s Chinese community compared with the Japan’s overseas Chinese from China's Mainland. However,Japan’s Taiwan Residents residents has gone through some remarkable and significant changes in the past half a century. They were quite influenced because of the normalization of Sino-Japanese relations in 1972 especially in terms of nationality alteration, identity and social integration, which had a strong impact on their normal life in Japan.Furthermore,Japan’s Taiwan Residents residents mainly consist of pre-war or wartime immigrants,post-war immigrants and stateless immigrants according to various migration era and social environment. The three different groups has shown complex but clear state of development in terms of identity and social integration since 1972.
