With regard to the relationship between morpheme and words in Chinese,many scholars in academia believe that morpheme is a linguistic unit lower than the word.However,we believe that morpheme and word are the same,and have successively published The Morpheme of Chinese is Word,Re-discussion on Chinese Morphemes is Word,and other articles elaborated.In response to the latest questions from the peer scholars,this article took the perspective of the concepts of morphemes and words,the relationship between compound words and constituent morphemes,and the standard issues of ancient and modern Chinese grammar to further explain that morpheme is word.
