中小学英语教材的有效衔接

Transition of English Teaching Materials from Elementary to Middle Schools

摘要 教材对教学质量的提升起着举足轻重的作用。2012版PEP小学英语教材和初中一年级上学期英语教材英语知识重复内容较多,对英语语言知识基本规律显性传递较少,小学英语学习对中学英语学习红利不显著。笔者建议在教材编著过程中,编者以英语单词拼读和句子生成知识为主线,通过听、说、读、写、做、演、讲、唱、画各种教学方式进行以单词拼读和句子生成为主的教学设计,使学生通过小学阶段的英语学习掌握英语语言基本规律,形成英语自主学习能力,为中学英语学习铺平道路。 Teaching material has a vital role in the teaching effi ciency.Language knowledge in PEP English textbook for primary school published in 2012 has a lot in common with that in PEP English textbook for middle school.PEP English textbook for primary school presents the explicit language knowledge a little,which weakens its promotion effect on English learning in the middle school.The writer holds the idea that the teaching material in PEP English textbook for primary school should focus on phonics and sentence structure by diversifi ed teaching methods,listening,speaking,reading,writing,doing,acting,talking,singing and drawing,facilitating students in the primary school to master the basic rules of English and cultivate the self-learning ability,consequently guarantee the smooth transition of English learning from primary school to middle school.
