Frost Injury to Walnut in Shaanxi and Countermeasures Concerned

在分析陕西省核桃晚霜危害空间与时间分布规律基础上,提出了加强监测预警,引进和选育抗冻害品种、选择适宜地形建园、营造防护林带,涂白、喷施药剂与激素等预防晚霜危害技术方法,以及在晚霜发生后采取灌溉、放盘施肥、叶面喷肥、修剪、防病虫等为增强树势的补救措施。

Frost injury is a prominent problem in walnut industry in Shaanxi Province.Based on the occurrence pattern and spatial-temporal distribution,countermeasures to reduce or prevent frost injury have been developed regarding prevention methods like use of varieties of high resistance to frost injury,proper site preparation,shelterbelt construction,white paint,spray of chemicals or hormone,and remediation measures after frost like irrigation,fertilization,foliage spray,pruning and pest control.
