警察院校对外交流学生英语听说能力培训初探

Initial Exploration on English Listening and Speaking Training to Students in Police College Going Abroad for Exchange

对外合作办学背景下,国际化警务人才的培养目标使得警察院校开展与国外同类院校交流互访成为常态。学分转换的交流形式要求学生适应全英文教学模式、具备较强的英语沟通交际能力。而申请对外交流学生的英语运用能力测试成绩表明,英语听说能力距离对外交流语言要求还有一定差距。为了适应出国交流学习生活,顺利完成学习任务,有必要针对警务专业交流学生开展英语听说专项培训。文章分析了申请交流学生的英语测试成绩及主要问题,调研了在国外攻读学位的中国留学生突破听说障碍的有效方法并结合交流学习专业的特殊性对听说培训在培训内容、培训方法方面提出了建议。

The aim of training international police talents makes the exchange bet^veen police colleees and similar colleges abroad very common under the background of cooperative education.The exchange way of credit transfer requires students to adapt to teaching mode in English and have strong communicative capability in English.However,taking applicants in the author’s working college as example,the assessment grades showed the listening and speaking ability has to be improved.In order to adapt to the exchange study and life and complete study task smoothly,it is necessary to develop special training on listening and speaking to students who are going abroad for exchange.The paper analyzed the test results and main problems,made a survey about the effective way with which many Chinese students studying abroad for degrees and put forward some advice on training contents and methods based on the specialty of study.
