摘要
詹姆斯·鲍德温《从荒野中来》中描写出黑人女性露丝的"荒野"生存状态,究其根源,不仅仅是来自于性别、种族、宗教、文化、政治等社会因素的综合影响,还与露丝将这些不平等的观念"内化"为自我认知之后,对其性格、行动造成的影响有关。詹姆斯·鲍德温对底层黑人女性"荒原"式生存境遇的揭示,启发我们关注女性、黑人、同性恋等"小群体",对于完善人类文明和价值观念有着重要的意义。
This paper analyzes the leading character-Ruth’s state of existence in a novel named In the Wilderness writtenbyJamesArthurBaldwin.Itexploresthereasonsofthe“wilderness”stateofexistence.Itisfound that the cawes of such lifestyle not only arise the from combined influence of religion,culture,politics and other social factors,but also from her own charaters and behaviors shaped by these ineqnality concepts engraved in her mind.Then it stresses on the importance of attention give to women,blacks,homosexuals and other so-called"minority groups".
