Objective To observe and analyze the clinical efficacy of irbesartan combined with metoprolol in the treatment of patients with chronic congestive heart failure. Methods 88 patients with chronic congestive heart failure treated in our hospital from September 2015 to December 2017 were selected as the research subjects and were randomly divided into the combined group and the control group, with 44 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with irbesartan, and the patients in the combined group were treated with irbesartan combined with metoprolol. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the control group(95.45%vs.79.55%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,LVEDd,LVESd and Nt-pro-BNP in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of LVEDd,LVESd and Nt-pro-BNP in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Irbesartan combined with metoprolol can achieve significant clinical therapeutic effect in the treatment of chronic congestive heart failure, effectively improving the patient's vital signs and cardiac function.
