文化负载词的翻译策略——以《十九大报告》英译本为例

Translation Strategy of Culture-loaded Words: A Case Study of the English Version of the "Report at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China"

文化负载词是指某种文化中所特有的文化内涵的词语,在中国文化走向世界的过程中,文化负载词的巧妙翻译,可以让世界更好地了解中国。《十九大报告》中涵盖大量的具有中国特色的词汇,是呈现中国形象的重要途径。本文以《十九大报告》为研究对象,分析了文化负载词的主要英译策略。

Abstract Culture-loaded words refer to the words having the special cultural meaning in a certain culture.When Chinese culture walks into the world,skillful translation of the culture-loaded words can let the world understand China better.The"Report at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China"includes countless words with Chinese characteristics,and is an important channel to present the image of China.Based on the report,this paper analyzes the primary translation strategies of culture-loaded words.
