党的十八大以来,习近平总书记深刻分析和准确研判当前中国高等教育现实问题,通过系列讲话和重要论述,从高等教育目的论、高等教育"四个服务"方针论、高等教育领导论、高等教育公平正义论和高校教师观等多个方面系统论述了中国高等教育的重大理论与实践命题,形成了内容丰富、体系完整、逻辑严谨的具有鲜明实践指向的高等教育理论,堪称"习近平新时代高等教育观"。习近平新时代高等教育观为高等教育改革指明了方向,极大地推动了中国特色社会主义高等教育制度走向成熟、走向定型,为中国特色社会主义高等教育道路奠定了坚实的思想基础。

Since the 18th National Congress of the Party,General Secretary Xi Jinping has profoundly analyzed and accurately judged the current reality of higher education in China.Through a series of speeches and important articles,he has systematically addressed some important theoretical and practical issues covering higher education’s purpose,“four services”principle,leading role,and justice,forming a complete theory of higher education with rich content,rigorous logic,and distinct practical guidance,a theory that can be called“Xi Jinping’s thought about higher education”.His thought has pointed out the direction for the reform of higher education,has greatly propelled the higher education with Chinese characteristics to move to its maturity,and has laid a solid ideological foundation for the development of Chinese higher education.
