硬组织植入聚醚醚酮表面生物活性改性研究 被引量:9

摘要 介绍了有望替代传统医用金属材料用作硬组织植入体的特种工程塑料聚醚醚酮(PEEK)的一些优异特性及其不足。首先,综述了在PEEK表面构筑羟基磷灰石、钛或二氧化钛等改性涂层对体外及体内生物活性的影响,并重点强调了改性涂层与基底结合力的重要性。其次,综述了直接表面改性手段,如等离子体浸没离子注入、激光处理、湿法改性等在PEEK表面构筑有利的表面物理及化学性质,赋予其表面生物活性的研究进展。最后,对构筑兼具生物活性和抗菌活性的PEEK表面进行总结,并对其发展方向进行了展望。 Polyetheretherketone(PEEK)is a prominent candidate for hard tissue implants to replace traditional biomedical metallic materials due to its outstanding biocompatibility and elastic modulus analogous to the human cortical bone.However,there is insufficient bioactivity for PEEK,thus resulting in a difficulty in application for hard tissue implants.This paper reviewed the research progress in bioactive enhancement of PEEK by surface modification.At first,the surface coating of hydroxyapatite and titanium dioxide for PEEK was considered as primary modification techniques such as plasma spraying and spin coating,which could endow PEEK with bioactivity.Moreover,the direct surface modification strategies were also widely adopted to enhance the bioactivity of PEEK.These strategies included plasma immersion ion implantation,laser treatment and chemical surface wetting.Bacterial infection was broadly recognized as one of the main causes of implant failure.Therefore,the enhancement of the bioactivity and antibacterial capability of PEEK implants by surface modification has become the hot topics in recent years.This paper introduced the recent research status of these surface modification techniques for bioactive enhancement of PEEK and also prospected its development direction in future.
