摘要 In his second play Endgame,Samuel Beckett expresses his serious thought and ultimate concern over the living state of humans by creating some physically and psychologically disabled characters.Through analyzing the their living state,the playwright’s purpose of prompting human beings’reflection on their own living state can be interpreted by the audiences.
