摘要
大量研究表明阅读动机可以影响学习者的阅读行为,然而阅读活动对阅读动机的影响研究并不多见。本研究对非英语专业学生进行了一个学期的英语阅读流畅性训练,并在实验前后做了阅读动机问卷调查,以考察学生阅读动机是否随着训练的开展发生变化。结果显示,经过训练,学生的阅读动机有了些许提高,但未达到显著水平,提高的动机主要体现在阅读效能感。通过对实验后的阅读动机与阅读测试成绩进行多元线性回归分析发现,阅读速度的提升有助于提高学生的阅读动机,但效应量不大,阅读理解水平对阅读动机没有预示作用。学生阅读动机的变化还需要参考其他因素来解释。
Abundant studies show that reading motivation can affect the reading behavior of learners,yet little is known about the effect of reading activities on reading motivation.This study conducted a semester of English reading fluency training for non-English majors,and conducted a reading motivation questionnaire before and after the experiment to investigate whether students'reading motivation changed with the development of the training.Results show that,after training,students'reading motivation has been slightly improved but not significantly.A multiple linear regression analysis is used to analyze the relationship between motivation and fluency test.The results indicate that the accelerated reading speed can improve reading motivation with a small effect whereas reading comprehension has no predictive effect on reading motivation.The variation of students'reading motivation should be explained by other factors.
